About Me

I am a National Board Certified French teacher who has spent the last twenty-three years teaching French and language arts in public, private, charter and boarding schools. Currently, I teach in a suburb school outside of Indianapolis, where I live with my husband, three boys, and soon a girl puppy! I love going to work every day and inspiring students and the teachers around me to grow and learn. When I am not teaching, lesson planning or reading about teaching, I like to play tennis, swim, and read historical fiction.

The two words that students and administrators consistently use to describe me and my classroom are “engaging” and “enthusiastic.” I’m using this blog as a way to share events and activities that take place in my classroom. This year, I will be teaching French I, French 3 Honors and French 4 Honors.
